JEWELLERY

Do not place any heavy items on jewellery to prevent damage.

Dropping acrylic on hard surfaces may lead to breakage

Do not leave your jewellery in the sun or in a hot area. Heat can lead to warping of material

Perfumes, creams and cleaning products can effect the materials so ensure these touch the items not at all, or very seldom.

To clean, wipe with a dry lint free jewellery cloth(or cloth you would use to clean eyewear) to remove dust or finger marks.

Mirror acrylic items cannot be cleaned using regular mirror/glass cleaner that is meant for glass. If a product meant for glass is used on acrylic it can severely damage the material.

Do not shower or sleep in your jewellery to ensure the jewellery last as long as possible.

Gold stainless steel is plated with gold, so may tarnish. If tarnishing occurs, a lint cloth can be used to buff and clean the tarnishing. Tarnishing, or oxidisation is a natural occurrence so please be aware of this when purchasing any items with gold plated hardware.

FLUFF earrings are made with Stainless Steel posts which are Nickel Free and are available in both Silver and Gold.

Most items are made in a grade of stainless steel that is commonly referred to as surgical steel.

Gold stainless steel is plated with gold.

Yes. All FLUFF earrings have been designed to ensure they are comfortable to wear. Thats why most products do not exceed a certain width and length. If any weight concerns might occur, I will mention in product description

They are made from 3mm materials

Unfortunately at the moment we don't offer this service. But hopefully in the future!

We are very conscious that acrylic is not the most sustainable and eco-friendly of materials to use. Even though it is recyclable (can be melted into new sheets), unfortunately, this process is not yet available in New Zealand.

So with that in mind, our sustainability practices are something we are constantly trying to improve. From conception to consumer, care is taken to reduce waste, including shipping materials which are selected to be reused or recyclable etc.

We use a mix of shipping/courier bags that are either home compostable or able to be put with soft plastics recycling.
